Chris Chopik

Lead Consultant

Chris Chopik is a sought-after expert in real estate, sustainability, and how climate change impacts the way we work, earn, and live around the world. 

As counsel to government, NGOs, policymakers, community stakeholders, and homeowners, Chopik has navigated many challenging issues facing communities as they strive to grow their economies and become climate-resilient in the face of rapid change. He also regularly consults private industry, investors, and organizations on strategy and direction for constituent and consumer engagement related to infrastructure renewal, natural hazard, resiliency investment, renewable energy, building labeling, energy efficiency, local living economies, complete streets, and biophilic design.

Chopik holds a Masters degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University. He conducted essential research on how climate change impacts property values and developed the original Climate Change Risk Index, a ubiquitous part of real estate valuation and climate risk mitigation and transparency models.

A passionate urban cyclist and adventure-seeker, Chopik is also an accomplished explorer and world traveler. 

Gordon Steventon

Strategy & Communications

Gordon Steventon is an international strategic planner and consultant with a track record of driving high-stakes business growth.

He forged his foundational expertise in corporate packaged goods sector, rising through the ranks from Associate Product Manager to VP and International Strategic Planner. Over his career, he has driven marketing and strategy for global brands, including Nabisco Brands, Loblaws (Interbake Division), Cadbury Schweppes, and William Neilson Cadbury.

Transitioning his skill set into international consulting, Gordon has advised an elite roster of corporate and public sector clients. His portfolio includes the CIBC, the Ontario Government Cabinet Office, the Office of the Mayor of Toronto, Macy’s (NY), Montgomery Ward (Chicago), Zellers, Honda, Suzuki, and major healthcare and crown corporations like SickKids Hospital Lottery and the Ontario Lottery Corporation.

Gordon holds academic credentials from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) and the London School of Economics.  He has also submitted case studies that are included in Canadian university MBA textbooks.

 

Salman Abedin

Strategy & Design

Salman Abedin is a Scholar-Practitioner with experience in Design and Implementation of Communication and Technology Initiatives. Salman specialises in Strategic Foresight, Participatory Design, Operational Planning and Team Management. He has a Master’s degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD U and an MBA. 

 

Salman enjoys debating Storytelling frameworks, and has co-authored a book on Storytelling.
